LED Pom Poms — Team Order
Metallic streamers with LEDs built into the pom, a rechargeable pack, and one remote that changes the whole team’s color at once.
$120 USD per pair · 10-pair minimum
For spirit coaches who host clinics: end the day with your team under the lights, every pom changing color together on one remote, and every prospect sees the program they want to join. Our LED pom poms are $120 a pair on 10 or more pairs; custom LED face stickers for giveaways start at 1,000, quoted.
What should a program order for clinic season?

Prospects sign up for a clinic to learn your material and get seen by your coaches. They decide whether they want your program by watching your team. The strongest recruiting minute of the day is the end, when your current team performs for the room. Plan it like a game-night moment: house lights down, every pom changing color on the same count.
Three orders cover a clinic season:
- The team’s LED pom poms. The LEDs are built into the pom itself, not one light in the handle, and one remote changes the whole team’s color together. The same poms carry every night game, so the clinic finale costs nothing extra. Team rate: $120 a pair on 10 or more pairs.
- Light-up cheer bows for the cheer side: white bows with built-in LEDs, with a button on each bow that changes the color.
- Custom LED face stickers as the giveaway at a college-prep clinic for juniors, seniors and college students: your shape and colors, 1,000-unit minimum, quoted.
Order once for the team, and the poms work at every clinic, showcase and night game after that.
How college recruitment clinics run
Here is what programs posted for this school year on their own pages:
| Program | Clinic | Who can attend | Fee | What stands out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UConn Cheer | College Prep/Recruitment Clinic, April 19, 2026 | High school juniors, seniors, current college students and potential transfers | $100 | Select seniors and college students may get a “Fast Pass” to the second round of tryouts |
| Texas State Cheer | Prep clinics Sept. 20, Oct. 17 and Nov. 1, 2026 | High school and college cheerleaders | $85 online | Anyone signing onto the team must attend an in-person clinic or practice |

The pattern is clear. Sessions run three to four hours, mostly on weekends. Fees are per session, usually paid at sign-up. Space is capped, and registration closes when a session fills. Big programs split sessions by coed and all-girl stunting, or by grade, and post several dates months ahead. One Division I program’s fall flyer this season ran a coed stunt session and a college prep and recruitment session, priced per session with a lower price for both, online registration only with a deadline and no walk-ups, and invited all-girl flyers with no coed experience. Many programs also post a weekly technique clip, such as a Technique Tuesday, to keep prospects watching between dates.
Build the clinic finale around your team

The finale is the moment prospects film and send home, so stage it on purpose:
- Schedule the team last. Prospects learn your material all day; the team performs it, full out, at the close.
- Take the lights down. Ask the facility staff to dim the gym for the final count. Our poms read in the dark because the LEDs are inside the pom, not in the handle.
- Start in team colors, then switch. One remote changes every pom together and reaches about 65 to 80 feet, so a coach can cue the change from the side of the floor.
- Match the cheer side. Athletes click their light-up bows to the pom color before they go out; see light-up cheer bows for teams.
- Charge the night before. Each pom runs about 3 to 4 hours per charge; white and rainbow drain the battery faster.
- Film it. A 20-second clip of the color change is your next recruiting post; see dance team recruitment videos.
The full run of show, from registration to staffing, is in how to run a cheer clinic.

|---|---|---|
| Pom squad or small dance team | 12 | $1,440 |

The Purdue Golduster Dance Team, the dance line of the Purdue All-American Marching Band, ordered 24 pairs from us in September 2026 and performed with them on the field; see the Purdue Golduster case study. For how college programs use them across a season, see LED pom poms for college cheer and dance teams.
Clinic giveaways for older prospects
A clinic shirt goes in a drawer. A light-up face sticker in your shape and colors goes in every photo from the finale.
Custom LED face stickers in your program’s shape and colors start at a 1,000-unit order and are quoted. A University of Texas alumni VIP suite ordered 1,000 from us; see custom LED face stickers in bulk.
Our stickers run on a CR2032 coin battery, so they are for college-prep clinics where attendees are juniors, seniors and college students. Hand them to adults and older teens, and never use them at a youth or junior clinic. For kids’ clinics, keep the light on the team’s poms; see junior cheer clinic fundraisers and clinic giveaways and dance team merch.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell LED pom poms to programs that host clinics?
Yes. The team rate is $120 a pair on 10 or more pairs, in your team colors. Email info@neoncowboys.com with your roster, colors and date.
Do clinic attendees need light-up poms or bows?
No. Attendees follow the dress code and material the host program posts. Our poms are for the program’s own team, and for prospects who want a practice pair at home.
How long do the poms run on one charge?
About 3 to 4 hours per charge. White and rainbow drain the battery faster, so charge the night before a clinic or game.
Can one coach change every pom’s color at once?
Yes. One remote changes the whole team’s color together and reaches about 65 to 80 feet.
Can we hand out LED face stickers at a clinic?
Yes, at clinics for older teens and adults, such as a college-prep clinic. Custom orders start at 1,000 units and are quoted. They run on a coin battery, so never hand them out at a youth or junior clinic.
When should we order for a spring clinic?
Send us your clinic or showcase date with your roster and colors, and we will tell you plainly what fits.
