What should a dance team order for a light-up look?
Start with the job each piece does on the floor. Our dance team range is five pieces, and directors mix them by roster size, budget and routine:
- Light-up bandana: the lightweight, affordable group piece. Every dancer wears one, so the whole line reads as one team in the dark.
- LED fringe sequin jacket: genuine sequin fabric with LED fringe front and back, color by wireless remote. The entrance and opening-number layer.
- Full LED body harness: a full-body cage harness with color-changing LEDs from the choker down, worn over a catsuit, bodysuit or unitard. The feature look.
- LED halter harness: a triangle-cut halter in black patent straps and silver hardware, with LEDs down every line, worn over a bodysuit or crop top.
- LED fringe garter belt: light-up fringe that glows and sways, made to each dancer’s measurements. The troupe, burlesque and showgirl piece.
You do not need all five. A 20-dancer line can glow in bandanas alone, then add jackets for the intro or harnesses for a feature group. Tell us your roster and your date, and we will help you plan the mix.
Mix and match by roster size
Here is how directors usually split a team order. Every row ends the same way: one email with your roster, sizes, colors and date.

For studio-senior companies: our bandanas run on coin-cell batteries, so we position them for adult, pro, college and older-teen teams, with an adult handling the batteries.
Which light setting fits each routine moment?
Light reads differently in an intro, a timeout and a closing pose. Plan the setting with the choreography, not on the day.

Pro court routines are short. Under NBA Rule No. 5, any team timeout beyond the mandatory ones runs 1:15, and teams get 15 minutes between halves (source: NBA Rule No. 5). A short number needs a look that reads on the first count, which is why one matched color across the whole line matters more than detail.

Proof from tours, festivals and team orders
We have built matched light-up looks for dancers for years. For Missy Elliott we made her hat plus 20 matching dancer hats. We have outfitted Beyoncé’s dancers on tour and built Beyoncé’s custom LED hand harness. Kacey Musgraves wore us on tour, we have worked with AEG and Live Nation at Stagecoach, and our pieces have walked New York and Los Angeles Fashion Week.
Dance teams order from us too. The Purdue Golduster Dance Team ordered 24 pairs of our light-up pom poms in September 2026 and performed with them on the field. Poms are the one piece with a published team rate: $120 a pair on 10 or more pairs.

Batteries, charging and care for a full roster
Plan power the way you plan music: before the dress rehearsal.
- Bandanas run 10+ hours on replaceable coin-cell batteries. Runtime depends on the mode, and solid lasts longest. Keep spares with the team manager and switch each bandana off between sets.
- LED fringe sequin jackets run 4+ hours from the included 5000mAh rechargeable power bank, longer at lower brightness. Spot clean only, with the power bank removed.
- Our remote-controlled LED harness runs 4+ hours per charge on its included rechargeable power bank.
