What should a dance team wear for a western theme night?
A western dance costume for a game night does not need a new uniform. It needs the things a crowd reads as western in a second: a bandana and fringe. We make both light up.
- Light-up bandana at the neck on every dancer: the western signal, in one color across the line.
- LED fringe sequin jacket for the intro, the captains or the front row: fringe that moves and glows front and back.

Keep the rest simple: your current uniform, or a plain denim and boots base. In a dark arena, the light carries the theme.

Which light color fits a western night?
Western does not have to mean brown. In a dark arena, color is what reads, so pick by what the crowd should see:
- Team color: the safest choice. The western look comes from the bandana and the fringe, not the color.
- Red: the classic bandana color.
- White: clean and bright for a lights-out intro.
- A split: team color on the line and white on the feature group, so the jackets stand apart.
Bandanas glow in the color you order: Pink, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Purple or Blue. Jackets change by wireless remote, with one solid color or color-changing modes and brightness control, so you can set them close to your bandana color.
Staging a line dance or country number
Line dance formations suit this look. Rows face the same way, step on the same count and turn together, so a matched bandana color reads as one moving line.
- Put the jackets on the front row so the fringe catches the first turn.
- Keep the bandanas on solid for the full number, and save the jackets’ color change for the last count.
- Run the number once at full speed with the arena lights at show level, and check every bandana is on the same setting.
- Swap bandana coin cells before the game. Solid mode lasts longest, and an adult should handle the batteries.
