Chicote de LED
One adjustable size (34–44 in chest) with LEDs you set to any color or pattern by remote.
$225 USD
For crew captains and choreographers dressing 5 to 30 dancers: our LED harnesses and light-up bandanas layer over the streetwear your crew already owns and glow in one matched color, so every hit reads in a dark club, arena or showcase. What should a hip-hop crew order to light up a routine?

Keep the base your crew already wears, the tees, hoodies, cargos and sneakers, and add the light on top. Two pieces do most of the work:
- LED harness over the tee. Our adjustable LED harness fits a 34 to 44 in chest over bare skin, a t-shirt, a mesh top or a jacket. Its remote runs 256+ color combinations and effects, including strobe, fade and color change, and it has a sound-reactive mode for sections built on the beat.
- Light-up bandana on every dancer. A standard 22 x 22 in bandana tied at the neck, with solid, twinkle and flash settings and 10+ hours on replaceable coin-cell batteries, in Pink, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Purple and Blue.
For featured dancers, add a statement piece: the LED halter harness over a bodysuit or crop top, or the full LED body harness over a black catsuit. Both are handmade for your team, with color-changing LEDs.
Light that layers over streetwear, not instead of it
A hip-hop crew’s clothes carry its style. Hip Hop International scores “Style/Presence & Attire” as part of a crew’s performance score, and its rules ask that attire reflect hip-hop culture and street presence (source: Hip Hop International rules). That is why our pieces layer: the harness straps over a tee or a jacket, and the bandana ties at the neck the way crews already wear one. The crew keeps its look, and the light makes that look read in the dark.
Lit crews have already proven the format on big stages. Light Balance, an LED dance troupe from Dnipro, Ukraine, placed third on season 12 of America’s Got Talent in 2017 (source: Light Balance (Wikipedia)). We did not work with them; they show how well a crew in light reads on a dark stage and on camera.

Crew size sets the order

Competition crews come in set sizes. In Hip Hop International’s Adult Division a crew has 5 to 9 members, and a MegaCrew has 10 to 40 (source: Hip Hop International rules). Showcase, club and game-night crews run anywhere from 5 to 30. Here is how crews usually split the order:
| Crew size | Pieces | What to send |
|---|---|---|
| 5 to 9 dancers | An LED harness and a bandana for every dancer | Chest sizes, one crew color, event date |
| 10 to 20 dancers | Bandanas for all; harnesses for the front line | Who stands where, chest sizes, color, event date |
| 21 to 30 dancers | Bandanas for all as the matched layer; harnesses for featured dancers | Roster by formation, sizes, color, event date |
| Featured soloist or captain | LED halter harness, or the full LED body harness over a catsuit | Sizes and event date |
One color for the whole crew reads strongest. If your formations split into two groups, give each group its own bandana color and bring every harness to one shared color for the finale.
Light cues that hit with the beat
Write the light into the choreography the same way you write the hits.
| Routine moment | Piece | Light setting |
|---|---|---|
| Opening in a blackout | Harnesses | One solid color, on with the first count |
| Isolation or popping section | Harnesses | Strobe, timed to the hits |
| Formation change | Bandanas | Solid in the crew color, so the new shape reads |
| Featured solo | Halter or full body harness | Its own color, so the soloist stands apart |
| Beat-driven section | LED harness | Sound-reactive mode, so the light follows the track |
| Finale | Every piece | The whole crew on one color |
One person runs the remotes and needs the counts as much as the dancers do. Rehearse the light cues with the full crew before the show, and give the venue’s lighting team your blackout cue so the house lights drop on time.
Pieces built for dancers on the biggest stages
Neon Cowboys has made light-up stage wear since 2014. We have outfitted Beyoncé’s dancers on tour and made Beyoncé’s custom LED hand harness. For Missy Elliott we made her hat plus 20 matching dancer hats, so her whole crew matched on stage. Our pieces have also walked New York and Los Angeles Fashion Week.
A crew order is the same job at a different size: every piece in the same color, made for dancers who move.

LED Halter Harness
A triangle-cut halter harness in black patent straps and silver hardware, with color-changing LEDs down every line.
$165 USD
How do you keep a full crew charged and matched on show day?
- Charge every harness the night before. The included rechargeable power bank runs about 4+ hours per charge. Strobe left on all night uses more, so switch off between sets.
- Fresh coin cells in every bandana, with spares in the bag. Coin cells should be handled by adults, so this piece suits adult, pro, college and older-teen teams, not young kids.
- Label each dancer’s pieces with their name, so the right harness goes on the right chest size.
- Wipe harnesses clean with a damp cloth after the show, with the power bank removed. They are water resistant and handle sweat.
- Set every color before the walk-on, then check the line under the venue lights.

Frequently asked questions
Will an LED harness fit over a hoodie?
The adjustable LED harness fits a 34 to 44 in chest over bare skin, a t-shirt, a mesh top or a jacket. For a bulky hoodie, measure the chest over it before you order.
Can the whole crew run the same color?
Yes. The LED harness takes any single solid color by remote, and the bandana comes in Pink, White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Purple and Blue.
Do the harness lights get hot?
No. The LEDs are designed to stay cool during wear.
How long do the lights last on show night?
The LED harness runs about 4+ hours per charge. The bandana runs 10+ hours on replaceable coin-cell batteries, depending on the setting.
Can we wear light-up pieces in a judged battle or competition?
Competition rules vary by event, so check with your event producer before using anything lit in a judged routine. Showcases, club nights and game nights are where most crews light up.
How do we get team pricing for a crew?
