LED Light-Up Cheer Bows
White bows with built-in LEDs that glow any color at the click of a button, one bow per athlete.
$66 USD per bow · 10-bow minimum
For all-star coaches and gym owners who want the whole team glowing as one on the mat and at awards, our light-up cheer bows are white bows with built-in LEDs that every athlete sets to the team colour with one button. See the light-up cheer bows page for current pack sizes and team pricing.
Why does a light-up bow win on the mat?

Because the whole team glows as one. Every athlete wears the same bow, set to the same colour, so the team reads as a single block of light the moment it takes the mat. Our light-up cheer bows light up the whole squad at once: under the arena lights at a competition, in a lights-out opener or on the sideline at a night game.
| Moment | What the bow does |
|---|---|
| Taking the mat | The whole team arrives in one colour before the first count |
| The routine | The bows read from the back of the arena, not just the front rows |
| The video | Families film the routine, and one colour across the whole team reads on a phone screen |
| Awards | The team on the stage glows together when its name is called |
| The team photo | The picture families share after the event shows a team that matched |
They glow in regular room lighting and under stage lights, so the look holds in a bright arena as well as a dark one. And the same bows work all season: lights-out openers, showcases, banquets and game days for athletes who also cheer for a school. See cheer showcase night ideas.

What do you get with our light-up cheer bows?

Our light-up cheer bows are white cheer bows with built-in LEDs: click the button on the bow to change the light colour, or let it cycle through the colours. They are big cheer bows made for the mat and the sideline, for all-star competition teams, school squads and college teams.
- White bows. With the lights off, the bows are white, so they go with any uniform.
- One button. Each click changes the light colour.
- Colour cycle. The bow can also cycle through the colours.
- Your team colour. Set every bow to it and the whole team glows together.
- About 6 inches. About 15.5 by 15 cm (6.1 by 5.9 inches) and about 60 g (2.1 oz).
- Tails. Tails come straight-cut, or we can cut them into classic triangle cheer-bow tails for your team.
See the light-up cheer bows page for current pack sizes and team pricing.
What size are our competition cheer bows?
About 6 inches: about 15.5 by 15 cm (6.1 by 5.9 inches) and about 60 g (2.1 oz). Superior Cheer & Dance calls the 7-inch bow its most popular size, especially for competition teams (source: Superior Cheer & Dance: bow size guide), so ours sits a touch smaller than a classic competition bow, with the one thing a ribbon bow can’t do on a dark mat: it makes its own light.
| Competition bow | Size | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Classic competition ribbon bow | 7 inches wide, often 8 for a bigger look | Rhinestones, glitter and size carry the look under arena lights |
| Our light-up competition cheer bow | About 6.1 by 5.9 inches, about 60 g | The whole team glows in one colour, bright arena or lights-down |
Tails come straight-cut, or we can cut them into classic triangle cheer-bow tails for your team. Want the longer tails of a 7-inch pony bow? DM us to join the list for the long-tail version. For every size side by side, see the cheer bow size chart; for colours, names and tails, see custom cheer bows.
How do you match the whole team?
With one button on each bow. Agree the team colour, and every athlete clicks the bow to it before warm-ups. There is no remote or app, so the captain checks the line once, bow by bow, and the team is set.
| Moment | Colour plan |
|---|---|
| Warm-ups | Every bow set to the team colour; the captain checks the line |
| Between routines | Switch colours if the next routine calls for it |
| Awards | Back to the team colour for the stage and the photo |
| Showcase finale | Let the bows cycle through the colours |
A crossover athlete on two teams needs one bow, not two: set it to each team’s colour. If the gym also uses our light-up pom poms for a showcase or a game day, the poms change together by remote and each athlete sets the bow to the same colour. Our poms are $120 a pair on 10 or more pairs.

$145 USD per pair
What does a competition-day plan look like?
| When | What to lock in |
|---|---|
| The night before | Every bow checked: it lights and it changes colour; poms charged if you use them |
| Leaving the gym | Bows packed in one bag with the coach, spares included |
| Warm-ups | Every bow set to the team colour, high at the crown on top of a high ponytail, tails over the ponytail |
| Before the mat | Captain checks the line: every bow on, every bow the same colour |
| Awards | Bows on and glowing for the stage; the team photo straight after |
Spares matter most on the road. A bow left at the hotel is the one you can’t replace that day, so keep spares with the coach, already set to the team colour. Take the team photo at awards while the bows are glowing: it is the picture families post, and the one prospective athletes see.
How do all-star gyms bill light-up bows?
With the uniform. In the gym handbooks we found, the bow already travels with the uniform, outside monthly tuition:
| Gym | How the bow is billed |
|---|---|
| Cheer Infinity Allstars, 2026–27 prep and novice | Uniform and bow $250, outside monthly tuition; a new hair piece is $25 for athletes who already own the uniform |
| Showtime Elite Atlanta, 2024–25 | Bows listed with uniform, shoes, warm-up and backpack as not included in tuition |

What to copy: make the light-up bow the team’s competition bow, and bill it with the uniform or the competition fee at one known price for every family, before the season starts. Count one bow per athlete on every team that wears it, plus spares for the coach’s bag. Because each bow changes colour, one set can serve teams in different colours across the gym. See the light-up cheer bows page for current pack sizes and team pricing.

Frequently asked questions
Do light-up cheer bows show under bright arena lights?
Yes. They glow in regular room lighting and under stage lights, and they stand out most when the lights go down for an opener.
Can every athlete’s bow match?
Yes. Set every bow to the same colour with its button and the whole team glows in your team colour together. You can switch colours between routines too.
How do we change the colour?
Click the button on the bow. Each click changes the light colour, and the bow can also cycle through the colours. There is no remote or app: each athlete sets their own bow.
Will the bows go with our uniform?
Yes. With the lights off the bows are white, so they go with any uniform, and the light sets the colour.
Can we see the bows before we order?
Yes. We can send you videos of the bows changing colour. DM us, or email info@neoncowboys.com.
How do we order for our gym?

Can we get triangle tails on competition bows?
Tails come straight-cut, or we can cut them into classic triangle cheer-bow tails for your team.
