LED Fringe Sequin Dress
A fringe sequin dress with LEDs you switch between colors and light modes with the included remote.
$249 USD
For the Mardi Gras night parades, wear one piece that makes its own light: our LED fringe sequin bodysuit, an LED harness or the LED fringe sequin jacket, set to purple, green or gold by remote. Add LED face stickers for the group, layer for a cool, sometimes wet February night, and charge everything before you leave.
What should you wear to Mardi Gras at night?

Wear one piece that makes its own light. Sequins only shine when a float rolls past; an LED outfit shines all night and shows in every photo. Then add the colors: revelers wear costumes or at least purple, green and gold (source: MardiGrasNewOrleans.com).
We are a light-up fashion house, founded by Asia Hall in 2014, and we build the light into the garment. Pick one main piece:
- The LED fringe sequin dress: a sequin bodysuit with one layer of LED fringe from a V seam at the hips, color by remote, XS to 4X. Wear it to a ball or on Bourbon Street.
- An LED harness over black, in one adjustable size for a 34 to 44 inch chest. Wear it for a long night on the route.
- The LED fringe sequin jacket, the layer for a cold or wet night. Pack it if one outfit has to cover every night.
The 2027 night parades and when they roll
Mardi Gras Day is Tuesday, February 9, 2027 (source: MardiGrasNewOrleans.com). Based on each krewe’s traditional night, the night parades roll like this (source: MardiGrasNewOrleans.com):
| Night | Parade | Where | Start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thursday, Feb. 4 | Muses | Uptown | 6:00 p.m. |
| Friday, Feb. 5 | Hermes, d’Etat, Morpheus | Uptown | 5:30 p.m. |
| Saturday, Feb. 6 | Endymion | Mid-City | 4:00 p.m. |
| Sunday, Feb. 7 | Bacchus | Uptown | 5:15 p.m. |
| Monday, Feb. 8 (Lundi Gras) | Proteus, then Orpheus | Uptown | 5:15 p.m. |
The Muses, Endymion and Bacchus krewes list the same 2027 dates (sources: Krewe of Muses, Krewe of Endymion, Krewe of Bacchus). Endymion, a super krewe of 3,000+ riders, rides into the Caesars Superdome. Parades can run until 11 p.m. near the end of the route (source: MardiGrasNewOrleans.com), and times can change, so check again the week you travel.
Dress for the night you will stand longest. Endymion starts in daylight, so switch on at dusk: our dress, jacket, LED Harness and stickers each run about 4+ hours.
Mardi Gras outfit ideas that light up
Most Mardi Gras costume ideas stop at sequins and beads, which go dark between floats. Here are six light-up outfit ideas, each built on one lit piece:
| Look | Pieces | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Fringe after dark | LED fringe sequin dress in purple, sheer black tights, an open long coat | A ball or party, Bourbon Street |
| Harness over black | LED harness over a black turtleneck, black jeans, an open jacket | Parade night |
| The lit jacket | LED fringe sequin jacket over purple, green or gold | Parade night in cold or rain |
| Crown and sequins | LED rhinestone gem headpiece with a sequin dress or black suit | A ball or party |
| Eyes lit | LED face stickers with a purple, green and gold outfit | Parade night, Bourbon Street |
| The lit group | Matching tops and LED pom poms in purple, green or gold | Walking with a group |
Pick the row that matches where you will spend the most hours. Every piece is one you will wear again, not a one-night LED costume.

How do you dress for Mardi Gras weather?
Plan for a cool night that might turn wet. Since 1874, measurable rain has fallen on 48 of 152 Mardi Gras Days, about 31 percent, and 10 have hit freezing; mid-February normals are a high near 66°F and a low near 50°F (source: National Weather Service New Orleans). The weather can swing from very cold to almost hot in one day, so layer (source: MardiGrasNewOrleans.com).
- Layer under the light. A harness goes over a turtleneck; a bodysuit goes under an open coat.
- Make the outer layer the lit one. Our LED fringe sequin jacket is water resistant, with LED fringe front and back.
- Keep your face lit in the rain. Our LED face stickers are water resistant and stay cool on the skin.
Packing for several nights? Buy the jacket first: it goes over everything you brought and handles the rain.

Wearing light-up pieces in a parade crowd

A Mardi Gras parade outfit has to last through hours of standing and hands up for throws. Before you leave the hotel:
- Charge everything. The dress, jacket and LED Harness run 4+ hours per charge; stickers about 4+ hours per coin battery; poms 3 to 4 hours, less in white or rainbow mode.
- Switch on at dark, not when you claim your spot.
- Keep the battery in a pocket or a small crossbody bag. The Full LED Body Harness has a hip pouch for its power bank and remote.
- Turn the brightness down early. On the jacket, lower brightness stretches the battery.
- Carry spare CR2032s for the stickers, away from small children (source: U.S. CPSC).
- Try sound-reactive mode on the harness when a band passes.
For the longest nights, choose the harness: it sits over any layer and handles sweat and light rain. Put it on at the hotel.

Matching Mardi Gras outfits for a group of friends

A group reads best in the Carnival colors. Rex, the King of Carnival, assigned their meanings in 1892: purple for justice, green for faith and gold for power (source: MardiGrasNewOrleans.com). Split them across the group, or wear one color each night.
- Stickers for everyone: one set each, in purple hearts or yellow stars. Reusable with a replaceable CR2032, so they come back out every night.
- Poms if you walk together: purple, green or gold streamers, one remote for every pom’s lights, 7 oz per pom.
- One centerpiece: one friend in the fringe bodysuit or the headpiece.
On 10 or more pairs of poms, our team rate is $120 a pair:
| Group | Pairs | Cost at the team rate |
|---|---|---|
| 10 friends, one pair each | 10 | $1,200 |
| 12 walking, plus two spares | 14 | $1,680 |
| A group of 20 | 20 | $2,400 |

Outfits for paraders, riders and walking groups
Light-up costumes for the parade itself must read from the sidewalk. By law, float riders must always have a mask on (source: MardiGrasNewOrleans.com), so check with your captain before adding lights.
- Riders: an LED harness or the fringe jacket over the costume, with the power bank in an inside pocket.
- Dance troupes and walking groups: LED pom poms, with the LEDs built into the pom itself, not a single light in the handle; the fringe bodysuit for a matching line. See lighted parade entries for battery planning.
- Krewes: custom LED face stickers in your shape and colors as member gifts, from 1,000 units and quoted. See custom face stickers in bulk.
Email or DM us with your parade, your group size and your colors. We make our light-up products ourselves and will tell you plainly what fits your date. See team orders for how a group order works.
