A fringe sequin dress with LEDs you switch between colors and light modes with the included remote.
$249 USD
For majorette and dance line directors: our light-up fringe sequin bodysuit keeps the sequin-and-fringe line look and glows in one colour by remote, so the whole line reads at night games, parades and homecoming. Sizes run XS to 4X. Send your headcount and sizes for a line quote.
Which costume keeps the majorette look and lights up at night?

Directors order a line costume for one result: twenty dancers in identical sequins, hitting identical lines, reading as one shape from the stands. Lines in the style of Jackson State’s J-Settes perform in sequined one- and two-piece leotards, with long flowing capes, sheer stockings and white marching boots (source: pancocojams). Our light-up fringe sequin bodysuit keeps that sequin-and-fringe look and adds its own light, so the line still reads when the game or the parade runs past sunset.
What should a director look for in a line costume?
| Check | Why it matters | Our light-up fringe sequin bodysuit |
|---|---|---|
| Sequins | The tradition, and it catches stadium light | Fitted sequin bodice |
| Fringe | Moves on every hit | One layer of LED fringe from a V seam at the hips |
| Secure fit | High kicks and splits | Bodysuit with snaps, two-way stretch |
| Sizing across a line | Every body type on the line | XS to 4X |
| Night visibility | Night games and parades | LED fringe, colour by remote, USB rechargeable |
When does a light-up costume make sense for a line?
- Night football games, for the halftime field show and the stand routines.
- Homecoming parades after dark.
- Battle of the bands and showcase nights, where the lights go down for each line.
- Homecoming concerts and step shows; see HBCU homecoming ideas.
For daytime events, the sequins and fringe carry the look on their own; the lights add the night. That makes one costume work for the whole calendar: the season opener in daylight, the homecoming parade at dusk, and the halftime show under the lights, without a second set to buy, store and fit.
How do you size a whole line?
- Collect measurements for every dancer: bust, waist and hips.
- Use the size chart; the bodysuit runs XS to 4X with two-way stretch.
- Order spares in the two most common sizes.
- Order the whole line together so every piece matches.
What goes with the costume?
- White marching boots, the tradition.
- Sheer stockings.
- Matching hair and makeup, set by the captain.
- The same glow colour on every remote, set before the line takes the field.
Check every piece together under the lights you will perform in before the first night event, so the line matches exactly from the stands.
How do you plan the order timeline?
Work back from the first night performance. Collect measurements at the start of the season, order the line together, and leave time for a dress rehearsal under the lights. Give us the date when you ask for a quote and we will tell you plainly what fits.
What does a director need to confirm before ordering for a line?
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| How many dancers, including alternates? | Every dancer on the field needs an identical piece |
| Which events are at night? | Decides whether the line needs light-up costumes or sequins alone |
| What colour should the line glow? | Set every remote to the same colour before each performance |
| Who keeps the costumes? | Programme-owned costumes stay with the director between seasons |
| What goes with it? | Boots, stockings, hair and makeup matched across the line |
Answering these first keeps the order clean, and it gives us what we need for an accurate quote.
How does a light-up line read from the stands?
A dance line performing in the stands or on the field at night is usually lit by stadium floodlights from above, which flatten sequins from a distance. A lit fringe gives the line its own light, so the shape of the formation reads from across the field, and a colour change on a count reads as part of the choreography. In a parade after dark, it means the line is visible from the curb before the band arrives.
How do you request a line quote?
Email or DM us with the number of dancers, sizes, the glow colour and your first night performance date. We make our light-up products ourselves and will tell you plainly what fits your date. See team orders for how a group order works.

Frequently asked questions
What do majorettes wear?
Majorette dance lines traditionally wear sequined one- and two-piece leotards, sheer stockings and white marching boots, sometimes with capes and fringe.
Where did majorette dance lines come from?
Majorette dance originated at historically Black colleges and universities in the American South.
Do majorettes use pom poms?
Majorette lines are known for dance, precision and their costumes rather than poms. For a light-up look, a light-up sequin costume fits the tradition better.
What sizes does the light-up fringe bodysuit come in?
XS to 4X, with two-way stretch.
Can a whole line glow the same colour?
Yes. The colour changes by remote, so every dancer can be set to the same colour before taking the field.
How do we order for a whole line?
Email or DM us with headcount, sizes, glow colour and your first night performance date for a quote.
Can the costume be used for daytime events?
Yes. The sequins and fringe carry the traditional look in daylight; the lights add visibility at night.
Who should keep the remotes during a performance?
One person, usually the captain or director, so the whole line changes colour together.
