Light-Up LED Pom Poms
Metallic streamers with LEDs built into the pom, a rechargeable pack, and one remote that changes the whole team’s color at once.
$145 USD per pair
For volleyball coaches, booster clubs and dance team directors running a pink out or Dig Pink® match: our LED pom poms switch the dance team to pink by remote for the between-sets routine, visible across the gym, and back to school colours after. Team pricing is $120 a pair on 10 or more pairs.
Who can run a Dig Pink match, and what does the night need?

A pink out or Dig Pink match is built around one pink moment the whole gym can see, and that is where pink light-up poms earn their place. Any school or club can dedicate a match to Dig Pink, The Side-Out Foundation’s volleyball fundraiser for metastatic breast cancer research, the least-funded area of breast cancer research, and organisers don’t have to be players, so the coach, the booster club or the dance team director can lead it (source: The Side-Out Foundation). A pink out match without a named partner works the same way: pick the charity first, then plan the night around it.
What fundraising works at a volleyball match?
| Idea | How it works |
|---|---|
| Admission donations | Donate the night’s gate to the cause |
| Bake sales and pink shirts | Run by the booster club at the door |
| Raffles | Drawn between sets |
| Pledges per dig or ace | Families pledge per stat for the night |
| Pink giveaways | Sponsored by a local business |

What happens between sets?
The break between sets is volleyball’s performance window. At a Palo Alto Dig Pink match, the gym was decorated in pink and a dance team performed between sets (source: The Paly Voice). Ask your athletic director whether the main gym lights can dim for the routine; even 60 seconds of low light lets pink light-up poms carry the gym. Keep it short so the teams can warm up for the next set.
How do you honour survivors?
- Before the first serve, invite survivors onto the court.
- Both teams line up and present flowers.
- A moment of silence or a short reading.
- The dance team or squad raises pink poms as the names are read.
At one Dig Pink event both teams held a ceremony honouring survivors with flowers, followed by a moment of silence (source: Side-Out: So You Wanna Do a Dig Pink Event?).
Which giveaways work in a gym?
- Pink light-up face stickers for the student section, lit for the survivors’ moment.
- Custom ribbon-shaped stickers for a district or club tournament (1,000-unit minimum, quoted).
- Pink shirts from the booster club.
Custom LED face stickers in your school’s shape and colours start at a 1,000-unit order and are quoted. A University of Texas alumni VIP suite ordered 1,000 from us; see custom LED face stickers in bulk.
