Sales Operation Intern

The Sales Operations Intern plays a critical role supporting sales leaders and their teams with strategy, insights, and systems to achieve success.



  • Provide administrative and operational support to Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operation Officer

  • Manage incoming orders, coordinating between partner management teams and our finance department to ensure accuracy and timely processing

  • Resolve and respond to partner billing questions (in coordination with account management and finance teams)

  • Support Sales Operations across a range of ongoing projects to optimize operations across the rapidly growing sales team

  • Managing domestic, international, and freight orders

  • Setting shipping platform presets

  • Checking shipping platform daily for incoming orders

  • Packing units, printing shipping / packing labels

  • Schedule USPS/UPS pick-up daily

  • Inventory management & reporting

  • Identifying areas of improvement, researching and creating ways to increase productivity, and streamline the shipment process

  • Ensuring orders are arriving at destinations, and investigating and finding solutions for orders that may been held up to due unexpected circumstances (ie: customs hold, out for delivery, not secure location, incorrect address)

  • You love interacting with people, whether that is over the phone, email, social media or at events

  • You are detail and results oriented - ie. lists, spreadsheets, editing and recap reports excite you

  • You are dependable and able to effectively manage your time

  • You love to consume media and have a deep knowledge of the landscape - websites, blogs, magazines, newspapers, broadcast and beyond

  • You stay on top of trends in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, design, music, and more

  • You are always willing to pitch in for any task - large, small or administrative

  • You have experience using Google applications, proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Keynote



  • Passion for organization & efficiency

  • Experience drawing data-driven insights and translating them into actions

  • Prior marketing management experience supporting digital advertising campaigns with strong understanding of optimization tactics

  • Ability to advise partners on best practices and areas of opportunity

  • Excited by a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Experience using SQL and Tableau (impressive bonus but not required)

  • Understand Neon Cowboys strategic and competitive position to identify and drive growth opportunities in the region

  • Knowledge of consumer product development or new product development

  • International experience with extensive knowledge of mobile and internet business models

  • Extremely strong skills working with product development teams on technology efforts

  • Experience in an operational, legal, or accounting

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail
